So Wednesday mornings are my one hour Starbucks ritual, where i purchase a quad venti 2% Carmel machiatto, i plop my butt in one of the over sized broken in arm chairs and i read. Sometimes i am blessed with visits from my fellow revolutionaries, sometimes i am see people from the church, and today... i read.
One of the biggest little gems that i have come across in my quest to be a leader... you know a real leader... has been RELEVANT Leader magazine ( http://relevantnetwork.com/ ). It is this sub publication for those of us attempting to lead the charge for the 20 somethings generation, that is put out by RELEVANT Magazine.
I was reading this article today about the state of the church, really the state of its leadership... and how this genration...our generation is longing for something more than the high powered CEO pastors. "Greeting the future with both hands free" by Ron Martoia, was the article that pricked the bubble of my comfort zone this morning... and causes me to ask the hard questions about he function and the future of the church as a whole and how are we making the revolution, leading the charge for heartbeat of God?
i don't know... food for thought... that definitely gives you heartburn.
