I have to say Monday nights are probably one of my most favorite times in the week. Being that i was gone for the last two... i was really looking forward as to seeing everyone again. For me it is always a little unnerving when we come back from a break, mainly because i am always refresh and have something really exciting to talk about, but i am always afraid that there isn't going to be very many people here to hear it.
Yesterday was no exception to those thoughts.
But as the night went on, and ans the people filled the place... it was as if something supernatural was happening. Not supernatural in the sense that the water in the toilets parted, or that someone started to levitate, but supernatural in the sense that the moment each one of you stepped in the door the mood of the rock changed.
It was literally like the direct shifting of the wind... one moment it is blowing west... and now it is blowing east.
You see each one of us are called the image bearers of Christ, and when we all gather together to places we find our selves in are filled more than ever with an abundance of the image, the heartbeat, and the love of Christ... that literally changes a place.
As we worshiped together, as we studied the word of God together, i couldn't help but sence the heart of God working through you... and then as we took the collection for Trisha and her new baby girl Ella, and was overwhelmed with a sense of pride for how God is using you.
Last night you donated 577$ to show a brand new mom, that God answers prayers. Last night you were a miracle... and that moment will supernaturally change her life.
