I get so freaked out sometimes, especially when it comes to deviating from my original plan. I often think of myself as a good communicator...a pretty well spoken person, but when i trod down paths not yet worn...i feel like a bumbling idiot.
I am pretty positive that this Gods plan from the beginning...I am becoming a firm believer in that when i am weak, incompetent, tongue-tied, or at least when i feel that way...God gets the chance to be center stage, not me.
For those of you who were at REVO last night, there was this huge overwhelming sense of Authenticity, and Vulnerability that permeated every ingredient of the service. My prayer is that we...you and me...will walk in the freedom of the knowledge that none of us have arrived, so there is no need to pretend that we have. We are all in the process...and as seen last night...the process is beautiful.
As uncomfortable as it usually seems...God knows what He is doing, and i would much rather follow divine interruptions than stick to my service plan.

God has his own way of making what we do for him amazing. I am so glad to see men, and women being truthful with their baggage. If we don't see it from people we admire than how can we be real ourselves. I thank you both for being honest about marriage, life, and ministry. I feel it is important for us 20 somethings to see that marriage especially is not just some attainable goal where once we have it that's it. That it is work, that God requires he be a part of it, and that you communicate. What I received from that evening was the realization that even as a single mom, I am worthy of a love so special and unending from a man. I was able to consciously evaluate my heart during your prayer, and cry, and let out the unforgiveness to myself. To forgive myself for placing that burden on my life of you have to be loved by a certain kind of person, rather than seeing that God has that person already picked out. Unforgiveness is a vice that gets tighter and tighter the longer we have it, and I thank you for going off the beaten path and taking us on a journey through the narrow streets of FAITH. God Bless you and your wife for being the authentic couple that you are. I truly appreciate your obedience to Our Father In Heaven and Earth. Peace and Be a Blessing
