So i had a chance to get a killer breakfast this morning (Mimi's Cafe...heck yes) with Nate and Mike D. We talked about REVO small groups, we talked about serving, we talked about the state of REVO and where we would like to go, and most importantly how we can get there.
Our biggest deal...was helping people realize how valuable they are to both the success of REVO (of any ministry really) and most importantly the authenticity of REVO. Mike D. and I can produce a pretty good show...we are both reasonably funny, and he is not too bad looking, but that is not what CHURCH is.
Our biggest dream is for our generation to be awakened into a romance with the creator of the Universe, and to live that romance out with everyone me meet. That starts with people being connected with people.
We definitely do not have all the answers...but we know where this starts. I want to ask everyone to join me in praying for us as a movement...that we would be in constant deconstruction mode...breaking down what keeps us from authenticity and intimacy.
So the quiche was amazing...the company was well worth the time...but the dreaming...mmmm the dreaming.
